This seems a fundamental principle of life.
To an Atheist it would only matter to those wanting to survive the short times seemingly available to them and of perhaps their Children.
To a Religious person it can matter to something they care for some times of another world.
But in any case what ever is real in the real of what ever should be real, then the above phrases meaning should matter all the time.
Boredom and Hypocrisy seem enemy's of study effort.
Eventually they become a danger against the Insurance of Safety.
Perhaps an example is that we tend to ignore the possibility of not staying alive.
The Japanese in these modern times used to seem like the most organised of Humans, until I saw the terrible mistakes they made nurturing the Nuclear power station that went wrong.
All Humans are about to do wrong, given time.
There is no exceptions now it seems to me.
The Christ King with the Information of His blood some how must teach us that the Horror of Wrong Activity must be Taught.
This same Informing blood must also avert disaster enough time for us to learn and yes even teach more persons than our selves.
If you are in a group of People such as a Church, Work or Nation that puts about ideas that you don't need to teach about the Teacher Jesus at any time what so ever then the accusations of Satan show grounds for His harder leadership for the eventual time of Judgement to see who you will be seen to belong to who.
This Horror of Wrong Activity to me is the fear of God that is the beginning of Wisdom mentioned in the Bibles Proverbs in Chapter 1 to 11.


Regular voluntary Insurance by volunteers regularly prepareing for
earthquake the area for the prevention of physical damage and so a
probable reduction in the physical damage that could occur.
Instead of financial payments for repair of the damage.
Even if finance was available for the Maintanance and Development
against damage, some of the damage would be un fixable.

rending personal consequences.

At one time people were just leaving it as a concern, as in the
beginning these sort of things were only understood by Professionals

Ordinary People could not so fully gather the abstract aspects of
such silent yet meaning full effects.
So to it is with the choice of Christ even in this day and age.
The Paganism is now rooted in the shear abundance of consumerist
increasing production and either a sense of humor making it seem just
analogy and symbolic or just a lack of accountable understanding.

Does one really have to discover the horror of paganism?

I expect this depends on the meaning of "the beginning of Wisdom is the fear of God" in Proverbs.

Also Jesus said of coping in the World "be gentle as Doves but wise as Serpents" in Luke.

 How far should one explore the Enemy of Jesus?

I dare say the Enemy being in love with its self would not with hold what it considers is lovely about itself.

Which by all accounts seems to be like a Serpent or Dinosaur and so probably a Dragon of which the Bible mentions allot.

A Serpent seems to be less emotional of individuality, for example its care for its young is less than by Mammals and often made up for with greater numbers per litter.

It seems to be stillish then move suddenly compared to Mammals, this maybe due to its slower metabolism from being cooler blooded.

Liking such nature the Enemy would encourage Orgy's, to many children, war and its often piercing sudden activity.

Even if we met space ship driving Serpent's with the ability to speak, I expect they would favour such natures.

As pointed out in the Bible the clever original Serpent would at least encourage this in us to reduce us to an uncomfortable life of poverty in the dirt like a Snakes, or hiding in a war bunker, if not death.
